What are Max campaigns on Reddit Ads?

Short answer
Max campaigns are an automated campaign type on Reddit Ads. Reddit says Max campaigns optimise campaign settings and creative rotation for every impression to drive better performance with less work, and that they are now available for lead generation to help increase lead volume and improve efficiency.
Reddit also says Max provides audience insights that help advertisers further understand their top performing audiences on Reddit, and that its in-market audiences, in beta, are available automatically through Max.
For lead generation, Reddit says it is optimising campaigns for lead submissions. Advertisers can send prospects to landing pages on their own sites or directly to forms tailored to their business, and route lead data into their CRM for easier follow-up.
Reddit's announcement does not say what budget or how many leads Max needs before its choices settle, so we do not state one.
Our reading, not Reddit's: a campaign that picks its own settings is buying the event you hand it. On a lead generation campaign that event is a lead submission. Reddit's announcement says it is optimising campaigns for lead submissions, and it does not say the campaign learns what those leads go on to become. We judge Max on what the CRM says the leads became, not on the lead count Reddit reports.

Riibon ties Meta and Google Ads back to outcomes measured outside the platforms, payments and bookings, so the number a decision rests on is one the business would recognise. When the platform and the business disagree, we show both and say which one we trusted.
Ask the Riibon app what your own account is counting as a conversion. It is free, with no time limit and no card. Or book a call and we run it for you.
